I Lied

You asked me if I was okay with all this,
I said "I'm fine."
You asked me if it was going to be awkward,
I said, "no."
You asked me if you could date my best friend,
only a week after we broke up.
I said,
"Go ahead."
I lied. Its not fine.
It kills me to say it but I still love you,
I always will.
It breaks my heart to see you with her.
I hope your happy,
even though I'm not.
I couldnt break you the way you did me.
